Why We Can Make the Difference in Your Ability to Merit Research Funding

GWSW’s faculty members have extensive hands-on, in-the-trenches experience writing grant applications. Since GWSW was founded, the Members and Associate Members have collectively accumulated more than 50 years of experience helping other applicants succeed. They have developed and perfected a straightforward, step-by-step strategy for writing grant proposals that is easily mastered. The process emphasizes approaches that help ensure applicants will develop a competitive edge, which is essential in today’s hypercompetitive funding environment. Proposal development is guided by The Grant Application Writer’s Workbook, which is available in NIH-, NSF-, and USDA-specific versions, as well as an Any Other Agency version that is applicable to all other funders. Based on the principles and fundamentals of good grantsmanship, GWSW’s approach helps applicants create the kind of grant proposal that reviewers want to read.
