When Chris isn’t working, he spends as much time as possible with his wife, Kristin. They try to get away from the mid-west each summer to hike in various National Parks such as Rocky Mountain, Grant Teton, and Acadia.

Christopher J. Papasian
Chris Papasian is Board Certified in Medical and Public Health Microbiology, and has served on Editorial Boards for journals published by the American Society for Microbiology continuously since 1996. He is coauthor on 12 book chapters and over 85 peer reviewed publications, and his research has been continuously funded by the NIH as a PI or Co-I since 2000. He has also written Microbiology questions for USMLE Step I and the American Board of Medical Microbiology, and has been repeatedly recognized for his outstanding teaching.
