When Chris isn’t working, he spends as much time as possible with his wife, Kristin. They try to get away from the mid-west each summer to hike in various National Parks such as Rocky Mountain, Grant Teton, and Acadia.

Christopher J. Papasian
Chris Papasian is Board Certified in Medical and Public Health Microbiology, has served on Editorial Boards for journals published by the American Society for Microbiology continuously since 1996, and currently serves as an Editor for 'Clinical and Vaccine Immunology'. He is coauthor on 12 book chapters and over 100 peer reviewed publications, and his research was continuously funded by the NIH as a PI or Co-I between 2000 and 2012. He has also written Microbiology questions for USMLE Step I and the American Board of Medical Microbiology, and has been repeatedly recognized for his outstanding teaching.
