Return on Investment:
The return on investment is significant. In these times of hypercompetition for grant funds, if one or more faculty members who attend one of our programs were to acquire a grant that they otherwise might not have merited, the associated Facilities and Administrative funds (F&A; indirect costs) earned by that/those grants – in just the first year, alone – would more than pay for the cost of the program. Thereafter, your institution would net all of the F&A.
