The following are written comments about the seminar
(on file):

This has to be one of the most helpful seminars on grant writing I have attended. Thank you for the resources and great presentation. Presenter made the seminar open, fun, and insightful.
Great speaker, knowledgeable, captured the critical points and audience’s attention!
Very easy to understand, and yet comprehensive. I have written and received numerous small grants from local foundations but haven’t tried a huge NIH etc., one yet. Feeling a little braver after today.
Outstanding without question.
Excited to see solid science examples as well as "hard" science. As a social scientist I appreciate the way the presenter discussed information relevant to my broader field of work. Great flow from morning to afternoon specific examples of "how to."
Excellent information and presenter. Very knowledgeable in grant writing and enthusiastic.
Very knowledgeable, practical inside knowledge. Approachable fun demeanor. Able to answer questions with great insight. Extremely credible.
Wish I had been able to take this workshop as a grad student!
Good sense of humor. Tremendous research career – who better to present! There is so much GREAT information!
I really appreciated all the helpful tools and tips for successful grant applications from A to Z. Presenter was very knowledgeable.
Excellent incorporation of new NIH criteria.
I felt that I gained a greater understanding of what funders want and don’t want. I’m not a writer and really do not enjoy writing and the examples will be a great tool to help with proposal submission.
I was engaged during the entire workshop. Overall an excellent program.
Appreciated the comprehensive overview beginning with basic principles. Handouts and Workbook will be valuable resources. Should be a part of New Faculty Orientation programs.
Examples were especially helpful. Identifying common mistakes was the most useful section to me. I really appreciate the "checklist" approach and treatment of several federal agencies’ grant programs.
Good, practical information! Constructive and honest suggestions.
I enjoyed your presentation style and sense of humor – it provided entertainment value to a dry topic.
