The following are written comments about the seminar
(on file):

One of the best career development seminars I have ever attended.
Very good seminar; will help our doctoral students be strategic and "planful" in developing/submitting F and K awards.
Well organized, concrete, easily applicable. Filled a lot of other gaps in research training.
This seminar was a wonderful way for those of us in our postdoc careers to plan according and go about proposal writing in an efficient and effective way. The attention to common issues and real examples was tremendously helpful. Many thanks for the information; this was a valuable use of my time.
It was excellent! We should have this workshop at least once a semester.
Excellent.
Very helpful! I am considering applying for an NRSA and this workshop was very relevant. Excellent presentation.
Perfect for time allowed.
This seminar was outstanding. The presenter was clear and very thorough. This has been one of the best grant writing seminars for junior scholars that I have attended at UNC. I feel this seminar should be offered by the speaker each semester.
I would attend this seminar again if given the opportunity.
Wonderful amount of information. Well presented.
Very helpful seminar; speaker was great. He did an excellent job describing the nuts and bolts of a CDA in great detail, but simple enough for those of us new to this to understand.
Very informative!
Outstanding!! Fabulous presenter. Talk and slides were highly consistent, making note taking much easier!
Terrific!
A very elegant speaker.
Great seminar and very practical advice with specific tips for application of the strategies. Very good and useful!

This is an excellent workshop, and I learned a lot from this program.

Very nice job, thank you!

All faculty should attend at least once!

As a junior faculty having just attended my first NSF review panel, I found this presentation to be very sequentially and logically outlined and detailed. I feel like this presentation has given me a good plan of action for my upcoming proposals.

I am currently a postdoc but found it extremely useful. I think a lot of the material also applies well to writing a research and teaching plan.

Terrific presentation, even though I’ve written a funded NIH R01 grant I found the workshop very practical.
