This seminar was excellent. The speaker was clearly very knowledgeable about the subject and responsive to questions, even offering assistance outside of the seminar. The speaker was clearly prepared and timed his speaking appropriately. This was an incredibly valuable experience. The speaker had a great method of keeping the audience’s attention. |

I have attended several grant-writing workshops, and each helps. This one is the clearest, by far, on the mechanistic approach to writing because it includes not just the “what”, but the “how”. Finally I feel like I can walk away and implement what I’ve heard and actually use it in editing and drafting proposals. Great job! |

WOW! This was incredibly helpful. I was initially concerned about devoting an entire day to this workshop for fear it would not be that helpful. Or relevant to me. There was no reason for this fear. This in undoubtedly the best training I’ve had while at UC (fourteen years) I have felt overwhelmed about applying for an NIH grant, but it now seems like a much more manageable task. Thank you for providing this opportunity. |
