As a postdoc I have attended several workshops on grant writing but this seminar was by far more useful in providing practical advice that one would not find anywhere!! This was great! Very useful!! |

I have written several grants that were not funded and as I sat through this workshop, I came to understand why. Now I feel significantly more prepared to write another grant. This was a very helpful seminar and I would recommend it to my colleagues. |

Very relevant. Very inspiring; I am now ready to go start writing an R01 application where as before I was scared to even start. Thank you for including UNC. I was dreading an all-day grant workshop but this was time very well spent. |

The inclusion of humor throughout the day helped keep our attention. [The presenter] was obviously very knowledgeable in the area of grant writing. His tips, particularly tying certain sections together and phrasing of certain elements, were very useful. |
