(on file):

This was excellent! As a grad student that is a PI, I wished that I knew this information years ago.
Excellent. Should be required for all new or junior faculties. Very helpful in putting the grant application in perspective, increasing confidence in developing a successful proposal.
Great tips-helpful for grad students as well as faculty.
Very compelling presentation/material. More detailed/robust information than any book on grant writing that I have read (including Goldberg’s Research Proposals).
Clear and compelling. Information great to practice with.
Very nice and clean presentation. It was indeed an informative seminar.
This seminar was so helpful. The only negative part of the experience was realizing all of the mistakes I made on the grant application I submitted BEFORE I was part of this workshop! Thank you!
Excellent lecture! Very informative and helpful.
[The presenter] is an excellent speaker; the information was priceless.
Very well spoken which made it easier to follow the content of the presentation. The information and guidelines provided will definitely make the grant writing process less painful.
The seminar was very informative. I am certain this will be valuable assets as I develop my academic career.
Very practical, organized, and not overwhelming. I wish I had this information available to me much earlier in my career.
Fantastic insight into a complex process. A very long and tiresome day, but well worth it.
[The presenter’s] insights are invaluable! I have attended other grant writing seminars, none compares to this seminar.
Unbelievable! This was one of the best seminars I have ever attended. The presenter had a great command of extensive information on the topic, and his presentation made this information very accessible. Great seminar!

Testimonials

“[The presenter] had a powerful, yet friendly presentation style that is not only hugely informative, but also reassuring that obtaining funding is feasible. His willingness to answer questions at the end of the session on broader topics than just grant writing was a pleasant and appreciated boon to the seminar.”

“One of the most dynamic and informative seminars I've attended at NIH. Hopefully there can be an increase in similar seminars in the future to accommodate all those who wish to attend. I would highly recommend this seminar to all.”

“This has been fabulous! It's definitely been worth the time. The timing has been good for me, too, as I'm just now writing my full PhD proposal. I will be editing it this weekend with [the presenter's] tips and recommendations in mind!”
