I wish Id had this seminar years ago when I was first starting my academic career. It should be mandatory for all new faculty! The specific examples were especially helpful. |
| |
This was one of the best seminars that I have attended on this subject thus far. |
| |
This is awesome! I really enjoyed every bit of it. I applied for K09/R01 grant and received a good priority score. Most of the sections were familiar to me. Had I attended this seminar before my proposal prep, I would have improved it a lot. Now that I realize it, I will use the knowledge gained from this for my next proposals. Thank you so much! |

It was very informative and relevant. |

I particularly liked the candid advice for new investigators. Most/all examples are of experienced individuals and your advice gives me more courage to break these norms. |
The level of detail for each section reviewed was great. |
Learned a lot! I have a much better grounding and framework to work from. |
This was a great opportunity to actually look at the way a reviewer looks at grant applications. I would recommend this seminar to anyone who would like to write an application. |
I thought that the seminar was very organized and comprehensive. Overall presenter is an exceptional communicator and session was tremendously worthwhile. |
Exceptional speaker! |

Great seminar incredibly valuable for all faculty. Would like to attend again as a refresher next year. |
Very good; lots of useful tips on how to best present ideas and increase the chance of funding. |
I gained a lot of insight into the grant writing process. I have submitted grants in the past and suggestions that I have previously received were sometimes supported and sometimes countered during the presentation thus I feel this was a good experience for me. |

Clearly presented and informative. |
