The following are written comments about the seminar
(on file):
•
Great presenter, expertise, humor with a down to earth approach. Inspired me to consider writing for a grant as soon as I am able.
•
Dynamic speaker; well versed in the subject matter.
•
Good background and overview information. Have attended other workshops and this was the best to date.
•
Concrete examples of differences between hypothesis-testing and needs-based overviews very helpful (has seemed less clear to me previously). Actually, all the new-to-me concrete examples presented on slides are very helpful.
•
Very informative! The seminar was well organized and the presenter was open to questions and was great at keeping things engaging.
•
Extremely helpful especially to someone very new to the grant writing process.
•
The seminar was extremely helpful. In fact, I wish that I had heard the seminar as a grad student and again in my first year teaching. The speaker was very knowledgeable and sufficiently entertaining to hold our attention for one full day. He is very energetic!
•
Excellent information provided – very engaging presenter. I would encourage all new faculty to do this their first year.
•
Very helpful.
•
The speaker provided a great program about grant writing that kept my interest the entire day. I enjoyed the stories and displays of personality which made the day fun. I also appreciate the advice and expertise of the presenter and I am positive this seminar will improve my future grant applications.
•
Great job!
•
Excellent and useful seminar!
