The following are written comments about the workshop (on file):
•
Not only does this aid in our grant writing, it allows us to meet colleagues in North Dakota, find out what many are working on or are interested in and provides an atmosphere of camaraderie! This workshop was very helpful in promoting the development of ideas into an action plan which can be communicated to reviewers of potential funding sources. I appreciate the assistance very much.
•
This workshop was a tremendous help in my ability to tailor my ideas into a well organized application.
•
I learned a lot! Thank you.
•
The workshop was very useful in helping me focus on a specific problem and generate objectives and hypotheses that were in concordance with each other. The presenter did an excellent job.
•
As a new faculty member, I found the workshop to be very useful. The course not only teaches good grantsmanship, but also engenders a process of critically analyzing research ideas before putting pen to paper. This, for me, has been the greatest lesson. I would strongly encourage you to provide this course on an annual basis.
•
The critiques/comments provided by the presenter are excellent. They are very helpful in revising my initial first draft of specific aims page of my RO1 Grant.
•
It’s been great help for me.
•
I found the specific questions posed and comments made during my consultation session to be very helpful in focusing my thoughts and in giving me new insights as to how I might go about accomplishing some of my aims.
•
I enjoyed the one on one part. I learned a lot about writing a proposal.
