The following are written comments about the workshop (on file):

I thought the workshop was an excellent tool for improving my overall grant writing skills and for strengthening this particular proposal. The workbook will continue to be a resource for future proposals, especially since I have the version that includes information about the SF424. One major advantage to participating in the workshop is having a firm deadline well ahead of the actual submission deadline.
The course was of tremendous value. The imposed timelines were of tremendous help. My workbook is dogeared from the amount of time I spent with it, and it will remain a valuable resource as future grants come up. [The presenter’s] comments were meticulous and very helpful. Overall, a great experience!
[The presenter] has been a fantastic resource and wished he would have been there during medical school and residence training.
The presenter] provided helpful suggestions, especially concerning The Specific Aims page. Several of my internal reviewers told me that my grant writing skill had improved compared to before taking the class, and that my grant (NIH R01) due June 1, 2006 was a better grant. I appreciated the help and advice and benefited form this grant writing class. Thanks!
Superb course. Extremely helpful. Course director was always responsive and timely with feedback.
This worked so well because only a selected group participated, which made us work as hard as we could and which made [the presenter] available to everybody.
