The presenter was responsive to questions:
4.8±0.6
The review and critique process was effective in helping me improve the pre-proposal:
4.6±0.7
The on-site phase meetings helped emphasize the thought process of reviewers and helped the focus of my proposal:
4.1±0.9
This program would be useful to have regularly as part of the University’s faculty development program:
4.3±1.0
The following are written comments about the workshop (on file):

I thought the initial seminar was very useful and found the handouts/material to be very insightful. I also thought the on-site session provided a good framework on how to revise my proposal. Overall, to this point in the process. I have been impressed with the information presented by [the presenter] and strongly feel that this information would be useful as part of the general curriculum of students, residents, and fellows.
I am so pleased with my experience with [the presenter] and the Grant Writers’ Workshop. Because of [the presenter’s] tutelage and mentoring, I was able to construct and write a competitive grant proposal. I am only sorry that my time with the Grant Writing [workshop] is coming to an end. I would highly recommend this as a permanent part of Faculty Development at KUMC, especially for junior faculty/novice researchers. Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate in such a worthwhile endeavor.
This was an excellent Workshop. [The consultant] is remarkably focused, hard working, and enthusiastic. He was full of ideas for improving my draft, I am certain that the Workshop will improve every grant application I make in the future.
It was a great workshop. I have learned a lot through the seminar, critiques, and personal meeting. In particular, a junior faculty like me will get tremendous benefits from the workshop. I appreciate [the presenter’s] efforts on this and am sure that I will learn more.
Ability to ask questions during onsite meeting is very helpful. Interactive thoughts and comments are very helpful.
